In Protein Detail we see the concepts of how a protein is synthesized using the blueprint stored in the DNA and replicated into the messenger RNA.

Using a simple cartoon of the process, we convey to students how the codon of the mRNA matches up with the anti-codon of the tRNA which carries the amino acid. The new amino acid is added to the growing peptide chain until the entire protein is synthesized - codon by codon and amino acid by amino acid.
